Description

If you would like to learn how to set up your own ropes for Southern Sandstone climbing, or want to refresh your rope skills, this is the course for you. This session is aimed at adults who have some climbing experience either indoors or out and would like to learn how to rig ropes for independent sandstone climbing. You will learn about sandstone ethics and how to protect this fragile environment too. We will cover:-

• Equipment selection, specifically for sandstone use
• Rope skills for rigging at sandstone crags, including basic and more complex multi-anchor setups.
• Sandstone environment and local ethics

These sessions start at 12:30 and dates for 2026 are as follows:-
