When you book a space, you agree to these terms
Payment
Full payment is required upon booking.
Payment for courses can be made by bank transfer, PayPal, credit card or ApplePay (online).
Vouchers are valid for one year after purchase and can be redeemed against any of our courses or equipment. Out of date vouchers cannot be extended.
Cancellation
As a small business, we strive to provide exceptional experiences and personalised attention to each of our attendees. To ensure the smooth running of our sessions and maintain the quality of our services, we have established a cancellation policy. We understand that sometimes, plans change unexpectedly. Our goal is to be as accommodating as possible while also balancing the needs of our business. Please take a moment to review our policy below. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated!
Cancellation by us
Whilst every attempt is made to ensure that courses actually run, we will notify you of any cancellation as soon as possible where we believe there are reasonable grounds that cancellation is necessary due to dangerous and / or unsuitable conditions for the course or if the minimum course ratio is not met. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your course, you will be offered either a full refund or to transfer to another date. We will not be liable for any travel or accommodation related expenses.
Cancellation by you: Within 14 days of the start of the course, 100% will be charged. Where notice is between 28 days and 14 days prior to the start of the course, we will refund 50% of your course payment. If notice is 29 days or more, we will refund your payment in full. Refunds will be made on or before the date the course commences. For termly paid children’s clubs we require four weeks’ notice or half the term’s fee in lieu.
Insurance and loss: We have full Public Liability Insurance, but we would advise you to take out your own Personal Accident / Cancellation Insurance. If you already have insurance, check that it covers you for the activity that you are undertaking. We do not include any personal accident, cancellation, third party liability or personal insurance. We will accept no responsibility whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to personal property.
Photographs
We often take photographs of you whilst attending our courses, primarily these are taken for you to keep as a memento of your day and sometimes may be used on our social media, website or for promotional purposes. If you would prefer not to have your photograph taken please let us know.
Safety
Nuts4Climbing have an exemplary safety record, however it must be understood that our activities contain an element of risk that is beyond our control. We hold an Adventurous Activities Licence (AALA) and are fully insured with public liability insurance, however if you require personal accident and/or cancellation insurance you will need to arrange this as necessary.
A minimum of a basic level of fitness is assumed.
Decisions made by the course instructor as regards to the safety of course participants must be respected and instructions followed by attendees.
Attendance
If you are late on the day of your course please contact the number provided on the ‘Important Information’ email sent to you at the time of booking. Please be aware that there is minimal phone signal at the meeting location. Your instructor will endeavour to contact you after you are 30 minutes late and have not already made contact. If you are more than 45 minutes late without notifying us on the day, the course will be cancelled and the ‘cancellation by you’ policy above will apply.
