TERMS AND CONDITIONS
When you book a space on one of our courses or activities, you agree to these terms and conditions.
PAYMENT
Full payment is required upon booking.
Payment for courses can be made by bank transfer, PayPal, credit card or Apple Pay (online).
Vouchers are valid for one year after purchase and can be redeemed against any of our courses or equipment. Out-of-date vouchers cannot be extended.
CANCELLATION
As a small business, we strive to provide exceptional experiences and personalised attention to each of our attendees. To ensure the smooth running of our sessions and maintain the quality of our services, we have established a cancellation policy.
We understand that sometimes plans change unexpectedly. Our goal is to be as accommodating as possible while also balancing the needs of our business. Please take a moment to review our policy below.
CANCELLATION BY US
Whilst every attempt is made to ensure that courses actually run, we may occasionally need to amend or change the planned session due to prevailing weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control. Where possible, we will adapt the session to ensure that it can go ahead safely and that we fulfil the session as fully as possible.
If we believe that cancellation is necessary due to dangerous and/or unsuitable conditions for the course, or if the minimum course ratio is not met, we will notify you of any cancellation as soon as possible.
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your course, you will be offered either a full refund or the opportunity to transfer to another available date.
We will not be liable for any travel or accommodation-related expenses.
CANCELLATION BY YOU
If you cancel your booking 29 days or more before the start of the course, we will provide a full refund.
If you cancel your booking between 15 and 28 days before the start of the course, we will refund 50% of your course payment.
If you cancel your booking 14 days or less before the start of the course, no refund will be given and 100% of the course payment will be charged.
Refunds will be made on or before the date the course commences.
Children’s Clubs: For termly paid children’s clubs, we require a minimum of four weeks’ notice of cancellation. If less than four weeks’ notice is given, half of the term’s fee will be payable in lieu of notice.
RESCHEDULING
If you wish to change the date of a course you have booked, you will need to cancel your existing booking and make a new booking for your preferred date, subject to availability.
Your cancellation will be treated in accordance with the Cancellation by You policy above, including any applicable cancellation charges or refund restrictions. A new booking will then be made separately for your preferred date.
Bookings cannot be transferred directly to another date in order to avoid the cancellation policy.
INSURANCE AND LOSS
We have full Public Liability Insurance, but we would advise you to take out your own Personal Accident and Cancellation Insurance. If you already have insurance, please check that it covers you for the activity that you are undertaking.
We do not provide personal accident, cancellation, third-party liability or personal insurance.
We accept no responsibility whatsoever for loss of or damage to personal property.
PHOTOGRAPHS
We often take photographs of you whilst attending our courses. These are primarily taken for you to keep as a memento of your day and may sometimes be used on our social media, website or for promotional purposes.
If you would prefer not to have your photograph taken, please let us know.
SAFETY
Nuts4Climbing has an exemplary safety record; however, it must be understood that our activities contain an element of risk that is beyond our control.
We hold an Adventurous Activities Licence (AALA) and are fully insured with public liability insurance. However, if you require personal accident and/or cancellation insurance, you will need to arrange this yourself.
A minimum basic level of fitness is assumed.
Decisions made by the course instructor regarding the safety of course participants must be respected and all instructions followed by attendees.
ATTENDANCE
If you are late on the day of your course, please contact the number provided in the ‘Important Information’ email sent to you at the time of booking.
Please be aware that there may be minimal phone signal at the meeting location.
Your instructor will endeavour to contact you if you are 30 minutes late and have not already made contact.
If you are more than 45 minutes late without notifying us on the day, the course will be cancelled and the Cancellation by You policy above will apply.

All data and information gathered is handled in line with current GDPR standards and requirements.
