Summer Sessions

Our ad hoc summer holiday sessions run for 3 hours and are designed for ages 10–18. Climbs are carefully selected by our professional instructors to match each child’s ability. With low instructor-to-participant ratios, every child enjoys a high-quality climbing experience, whether they’re a complete beginner or an experienced climber.
Private Classes

Book here for tailored one-to-one sessions. Whether your child is new to climbing or has some experience, we assess their abilities and adapt each session so they can learn through play. Activities include roped climbing, scrambling, simple rope skills, and discovering the fragile sandstone environment and how to protect it. Choose a date and time that suits you.
A Safe, Supportive and Fun Environment for Children to Learn Climbing
Rock climbing is a fantastic way for children to explore the outdoors, stay active, and develop valuable life skills. Through climbing, children build confidence, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and resilience — all while enjoying a fun and challenging form of exercise.
At Nuts4Climbing, your child’s safety is always our top priority. We hold an Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) licence and are fully insured with £10 million public liability cover, giving parents, schools, and organisations complete peace of mind. All sessions are delivered by experienced, qualified instructors in a supportive and encouraging environment.
We cater for both privately booked groups — including schools, colleges, Scouts, Brownies, and youth organisations — as well as individual children. Our regular weekend clubs run on Saturday and Sunday mornings, with additional sessions available during the summer holidays.
We also support the National Curriculum, delivering climbing sessions that meet GCSE and A-level PE syllabus requirements.
